Mim is spot on.
I have no problem with people being offended or outraged by certain behaviour or rules. But they should be consistent with that outrage.
Any company that pulls out of NC because of this should pulling out of doing business in any country (or state) where the standards of discriminatory laws are far far worse.

Bigotry is bigotry and lots of people recognise it and many companies with equal rights policies will shun states with bigoted laws.
These states think they're being all clever when in fact it's the usual dumbass republican bigots getting themselves in a mess again.
Public toilets are all about going for a piss actually, not sure what you use them for then mims, you shouldn't be forcing women to relieve themselves in male toilets, that's just obviously wrong to all sensible souls.

It's not whataboutery at all WCO, it's completely relevant. Paypal have actually pulled 400 jobs from NC (great, punish the general public eh) while still doing business in countries where gay people are executed. If they cared so much about LGBT rights, they'd stop doing business in those countries, wouldn't they?

I'm on about the international outrage on the subject. Paypal (who do business in five countries where homosexuality carries the death penalty) being one noticeable offender.
People are making out like this is some sort of horrifically restrictive and oppressive nazi-like law which will change innocent people's lives for the worst. It's not. It just says that only men can use mens toilets and women can use womens toilets.
Why are people getting outraged about that?

The obvious answer is that they are protesting laws in their own democratic country, as is their right, that doesn't mean they aren't concerned or not trying to do anything about human rights abuses abroad, there are numerous charities that attempt to give coverage to those issues.

I tend to agree with that exactly (and have been previously ripped apart on here for suggesting the same) but my point is that all these cunts getting high and mighty about North Carolina, if they really honestly cared about LGBT rights they'd be vocal about the laws in Saudi Arabia or Somalia and try and do something about that, you know, where governments actually kill people for being gay.
As usual though with lefties it's all about attention seeking.
